(COACHES THAT ARE PAYING IN CASH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTING ALL MONEY FROM ALL REGISTERED ARCHERS AND MAKE ONE LUMP SUM PAYMENT AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE)

     Welcome to the 2027 Texas Two-Step!  Strap on your boots, and come out to compete in the 2027 Texas Two-Step. The Texas Two-Step will ONLY be at the Arlington Archery Center. Tournament is open to elementary, middle school and high school archers.

Please note: All registrations must be completed online through the NASP website by a certified BAI instructor. Parents should not contact tournament administrators regarding registration or flight times. Only a NASP-certified instructor or coach from your child’s school may communicate with tournament administrators concerning these matters.

This tournament will utilize a 10/15-meter range with 20 targets available per flight. Preliminary results will be posted online Saturday following the conclusion of the event.

All archers are strongly encouraged to take a photo of their scorecard before submitting it and exiting the competition floor after their final scoring end.

All NASP rules and regulations will be strictly enforced. Concessions will be available on-site throughout the event.

There is no spectator fee.

The Texas Two-Step awards are special!  We will award the following prizes to archers and teams for the 2027 Texas Two-Step.

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

1.) Scholarships sponsored by the Willow Bend Hunt Club, Inc. of Plano, Texas, will be awarded to the top male and female archers in the High School Division only.

Scholarship awards are as follows:

1st Place Male and Female High School Archer: $1,000 each
2nd Place Male and Female High School Archer: $750
3rd Place Male and Female High School Archer: $500

2.) 1ST, 2ND, AND 3RD PLACE PLAQUES WITH CERAMIC BOOT FOR MALE AND FEMALE IN EACH DIVISION (6 AWARDS FOR ELEMENTARY, 6 FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND 6 FOR HIGH SCHOOL).

TEAM AWARDS

1.) CHAMPIONSHIP TEXAS SHAPED PLAQUES WITH CERAMIC BOOTS WILL BE AWARDED TO THE CHAMPIONS OF THE 2027 TEXAS-TWO STEP IN EACH DIVISION (ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE, AND HIGH SCHOOL DIVISIONS).

2.) THE TEXAS TWO-STEP HAS A PERPETUAL TRAVELING TROPHY THAT WILL GO WITH THE TEAM WITH THE HIGHEST TEAM SCORE OF THE TOURNAMENT. THE WINNER WILL HAVE THEIR NAME ENGRAVED ON THE TROPHY AND GET TO KEEP IT FOR A PERIOD OF 1 YEAR BEFORE RETURNING IT TO THE COACH OF ARLINGTON ISD ARCHERY THE FOLLOWING YEAR TO AWARD TO THE 2028 WINNERS.  IT IS THE COACHES RESPONSIBILITY FROM THE WINNING TEAM TO RETURN THE TROPHY AT LEAST A WEEK BEFORE NEXT YEAR'S TOURNAMENT.  THE COACH IN POSSESSION OF THE TROPHY IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS SAFE-KEEPING, AND ENSURE NO DAMAGE OCCURS TO THE TROPHY.
